Awfully catchy and horribly enjoyable.

It all started when I hit play...
That chord progression sucked me right in.
The side-chaining was right on.
Nothing like a noise gate to add a rhythmitic feel to the mix.
It takes it from a subtle bounce to a straight-up jump.

Very Daft Punk-ish.
You get a perfect score from me. :)

Oh, and a download. :D

Overpowing piano.

I actually like this song.
But the reverb on that piano really covers up most of the sound-scape.
I think it'd do real good with some dynamics.

Good work though. :)
Oh, the kick drum. Compress.

Kinda' stale...

I swear I've heard the intro somewhere...
But the song is pretty cool.
The synth arps are pretty well woven into each other.

It's good work.
Sorry for the late review. :P
Good work.
Keep it up.

MarioNintendo responds:

Hmm, that is weird. I thought it came from my own mind... oh well.

Well thanks for the positive feedback :P

Gothic.

The harpsichord almost always takes me to a Gothic age feeling.
It's just the way it sounds.

And this definitely sounds dark, classical Gothic age business. :)

I like it.
Those drum rolls were fast and prominent.
But not so out of place to be awkward.

Good work.

ACTION!

Something about a pulse pad gives me to feeling of movement and action. This loop is just really cool. The melody is awesome. But the drums do sound a little funky for some reason. :P

HMS-Productions responds:

hehe... that's me messing around with the reverb :p

Whoa...

Spacy!

Makes you feel...out there.
I like it.

Although, those strings did seem a little funky as someone already mentioned.
This could be a really cool loop in a flash though. :D

This song is so awesome!

REALLY!

The beat is really prominent as well as that cool rhythm synth.
Nice pads behind the piano break.

I really enjoy the track.

Very good work!

Nice tune.

Pretty good.
Nice composure.
I'd mix up the drum patterns though.

Either way, I still think it's really nice. :)
Good work.

FairSquare responds:

Thanks!
I was to lazy to change the drums :P

Not bad at all!

The sound is so vivid.
So...vibrant.

It's a structure.
Everything is pieced so wonderfully.
Great work.
Very great work.

Soundshifter responds:

thnk you very much. i find my music is very much structured. i'm glad you enjoyed it. you should check out the original if you get a chance :)

Dark jazz. :D

Wow...
You keep it real smooth on that guitar.
Laid-back drumming and just a dark setting...I love it.

Though, I noticed a couple timing mistakes.
But I probably won't call them out as real 'mistakes'.
Some of them feel like they SHOULD be there. :P

That's the thing about jazz.
It's not about how well you play it.
It's about the feeling.

Good work.

oddfellowfloyd responds:

hehe thank you again, mate... yes, i know the teeny 'glitches' in there too but... ;) haha i tried to fashion this piece similar to the final fantasy piano collection... that japanese composer is SIIIIICKKK how he uses chords like those... i love dark, chordal jazz, and my 7-strings add just the right amount hehe.... glad you enjoyed it... ^______^ i do get nervous posting live performances, but i am always happy when they are well-received or constructively criticised.

peace
