Smooth, indeed.

The song title sums it up.
It's smooth listening with rough edges.
Did that make sense?
Probably not. :P

I hope those vocal samples aren't copyrighted...
Either way, you should probably try and mesh them into the song a bit more.
They just seem too...in your ear-hole.

I don't need some lady all up in my face asking me if I'm ready for the beats. :D
But you set the timing right on her sample. :P

Good synth rhythm.
Cool joint you got here.

I look forward to more music from you.

quarks123 responds:

well if you get a female person for me, who record her voice for me then maybe i make a longer voice part ^^

i think without voice the song would be to boring ^^

thanks for your comment you arguments are matching very good and i try to make it better next time
(ps: they are not copyrighted and i haven't any other and the same text over and over again is s*** ^^)

It's...drum and bass!

I like the classic DnB take you took.
Heavy bass synth.
Prominent drums.

It's beautiful.

Only thing that makes me itchy is that snare sample.
it's just not working for me.

Good stuff.
Keep your music coming.

coupland responds:

Theres like 4 snare samples but you probably mean the FL sample haha was the only 1 i could find with a bit of release on it haha glad you like everythin else though :)

Whoa!

I was just about to give you a 4/5 vote until I heard the transition melody into the second part!
After that added melody BAM! 5/5 and a pretty rock solid 10/10 reviewer rating.

I can't really supply any negative feedback.
I like the song. :)

FlamingFirebolt responds:

Thanks you liked it. One of my best melody's i think :).

-firebolt-

MOAR PERCUSSION PLEASE. :D

Yeah, definitely more percussion. :P
But overall, I'm getting down on that synth main you have going on.
It's very powerful.

Those upscales later in the song...
I'm not really feeling those.
But that's all just opinion. :P

Keep the good jams coming. :D

xXDarkWoodsXx responds:

heya, i can see what you mean by more percussion. i'll try to find some more drum kits instead of using the plain "Fruity Kick" which is the background drum. I know it kinda sucks, but it was the only one i could find that would match a Trance song, know what i mean? Anyway, for a boy aged 13, i think i did pretty good, dont you? lol, but anyway thanks for the brilliant review, and i hope youy comment on my other songs aswell:D:D:D Thanks, xxDarkWoodsxx

Happy, happy!

The melody is so happy.
But the beat...
It's a little lacking.
Doesn't really move me. :P

I like what you have here though.
Especially the panning.
Those arpeggiated synths are just dancing between headphone cups. :D

Good work.
Keep it up. :D

AntQ responds:

I appreciate your feedback, yeah i know the song wasnt perfect but glad to hear that you still enjoyed it. I hope my future songs will turn out better.

Eh...

The beat was 'eh'...
The synth was 'eh' and not to mention really harsh on the ears...

Overall, the song really didn't touch me too much.
It didn't touch me like Santa Claus touched me that one Christmas, but that's a different story. :D

I think you have potential. :)
Everything was in the right key.
That's a good thing and I know people who even manage to mess that up. :D

What software are you using?
Maybe I can help you out.

Randomizor responds:

Im using FL Studios 8 lol

Mellow deliverence.

I like it.
The soft sound of the classical guitar sings to me.

I need to buy me a new one.

I feel the song demands a little more variation though.
Keep up the good work. :)

Smooth.

I like what you have so far.
But I listen to a lot of DnB and I think that percussion needs to come out more.
A lot more. :D
That's the whole point of DnB. :P

People want to hear...drums...and bass.
Pan out some of the drum kit too.
I think that'll sound nice.

You got a pretty nice piece of work here.
Keep it up.

Alakazamm responds:

Thanks.

I'll make the beat a little louder but I don't want to make it like some hardcore Drum N Bass. I'll see what I can do.

Yeah, I noticed the bass being so quiet as soon as I listened to it in headphones. Unfortunately this was after I uploaded it. I've changed it already.

I tried the panning thing but it make the beat a bit too soft, I'll try it again with different effects and stuff. I'll see what I can do. I'll try re-uploading it later if I get time.

Thanks for your suggestions, I appreciate it.

Live-listen Review

Beginning sounds nice.
Nice reversed cymbal.
Oh...compress that kick sample, man.
It sounds blown out. :P
I like the melodies coming in.
Very nice.
There's that bass again...
Maybe it's not the bass sample but the bass.
Oooooh, a bendy melody.
I still like it. :)
And a fade out.
And it's done.

Well, that was short.
But I like it. :)
All except the bass sample that's blowing it out.
Compress or add a limiter. :)

Nice work.
Keep it up. :D

Wonderfully creepy

As soon as I started playing it I immediately felt that creepy feeling.
Definitely sets that mood.
It's got that..."underground parking lot" feeling to it.

Matter of fact!
It reminds me of the music from RE2 in the parking lot under the police station!

Man...I better not open my front door and find zombie dogs out there...

TehZorzGuy responds:

RE2 parking lot, eh? I was thinking more like the dungeon areas in RE4.
